Journalist Acharya to be honoured with FNJ Tanahu award

Outgoing President of Tanahun Chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists Omkar Acharya is to be honoured with the Rana Bahadur Cheejakumari Suraj Gurung Memorial Award. The Award established by the Chapter carries a purse of Rs. 5,000.
The FNJ Tanahu meeting on Friday announced the names of the individuals to be honoured with various awards established by the Chapter, according to its Secretary Pratap Rana
Likewise, the Chapter is going to award Tikanidhi Dhungana Byas Parashar Journalism Award to Soni Sharma of FNJ Gandaki Province. The prize includes a purse of Rs 10,000. Late Bhavani Khanal Journalism Award will be given to Bishwabandhu Bhandari, the founder president of the Chapter. The prize carries a purse of Rs. 15,ooo.
Chiranhari journalism award will be presented to journalist Sane Bahadur Nepali. Haribhakta Memorial Journalism Award will be presented to Dambar Bahadur Adhikari, the former president of the branch. Both the prizes carry a purse of Rs. 10,000 each.
Similarly, the Bhorleli Kewal Bahadur Memorial Journalism Award will be presented to Prakashchandra Bhattarai, former president of the branch. Purushottam Kafle Memorial Journalism Award will be presented to journalist Pawan Paudel. Both the prizes carry a purse of Rs. 10,000 each.
The awards will be presented at a program to be held on the March 30 to mark the foundation day of the Chapter.
